Our students attained remarkable success by clinching first place in the categories of financial and management accounting. Vanesa Gudić secured the top spot in the management accounting category, while Patrik Šantek emerged victorious in the financial accounting category. As a reward for their achievements, the students received a cash prize and a certificate.
The aim of the Accounting Battle was to effectively integrate the academic and business communities. The competition comprised two phases. In the initial phase, designed by professors from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, contestants answered theoretical questions and tackled a calculation task. The second phase involved solving a case study and provided an opportunity for contestants to engage with Premium partners who contributed to the development of questions for this stage. Among these partners were PLIVA, Deloitte d.o.o., and Lidl.
