Venue
Varaždin is a charming and friendly baroque town on the right bank of the Drava River in northwestern Croatia, 79 km northeast of Zagreb. It has over 40,000 inhabitants (page http://www.varazdin.hr). The Faculty building, located near the Varaždin Cathedral, was once a monastery. It offers a picturesque view on the Central Square with the Town Hall a part of which is probably a Romanesque building with a visible Gothic arch, reconstructed in the 16th century.
